I saw a troupe of children put on a fantastic Peter Pan play.
The players not much older than I.
And oh my. It was Peter Pan.
Forest green tights.
Pixie crop cut.
Her pert bosom blossoming under mossy smock.
A perfect Pan.
A total prepubescent panic.
I fell in love at the theater.
With Peter Pan.

For reference. I’m reading Goethe’s Apprenticeship of Meister Wilhelm. Described within, a theater troupe, actors and actresses, manager and contracts, nobles and vassals. Book review forthcoming. I don’t so much enjoy the actors, but the actresses are all very interesting.
