The Woman stewed for several minutes as her husband and I spoke about the vikings in Norway.
Then she asked, as if she was holding back a tidal wave, “What do you think about Trump and make America great again?”
I wanted to say so many things, but instead replied, “There’s nothing we can do about that.”
That really pissed her off. She wants to fight for Ukraine. Her precious ‘social democratic’ Norway is being threatened. Yes, she did use the term ‘social democracy’. And that’s funny cause I’m currently reading, The Fabian Society by Guy Boulianne. Book review forthcoming…
I didn’t mention any of that. I watched her foam up and get quite angry. She told her husband to come along. The man got up and looked at me with sad puppy dog eyes. I stood up and shook the man’s hand, told him my name was Peter and to have a great day.
